Does anyone know if Windows XP Professional X64 (64 bit) supports the Intel Q6600 CPU? I need a 64 bit version, because the 32 bit version might not support 4 GB of RAM.
I was under the impression that 3-4gb is fine for a 32bit OS, and that it was the 4gb and upwards that really needs a 64bit OS.. I may be wrong tho
That's true, but I've read that there is something with drives that are loaded, making only 3.2 out of 4 GB available.
