When I start up Windows. I get a small window at the begining that says

"Windows can not find "******* ******* *n***" Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the start button and then click search."

I click OK and then another small window comes up and says.

"Could not load or run ******* ******* *n***" soecifies in the registry.Make sure the file exists on your computer or remove the reference to it in the registry."

I click OK again and then windows finishes loading and things run fine. This happens everytime I start up windows. Is there any way of getting rid of these
messages at start up. Please help if you can

P.S. The * are actually squares that show up.

    Thank You

Something's damaged a windows file or registry entry. try doing a repair install of windows which will fix it, but you may want to slipstream SP2 with XP so you don't have to reinstall SP2.
