Hello Everyone, I would like to buy a wireless router so that i can use my laptop in other areas of my house. However i keep most of my files on an external USB hard drive. Is there a wireless router which i could plug my usb external hd into and have that shared along with my internet connection? Is that possible? If so, which model do you all recommend? Thanks Rich
I don't think you could plug it in to a router, as the router doesn't share hardware, nor have the USB connection. What you could do is attach the drive to a PC, and enable sharing of that disk. Then the wireless network will pick up that PC, and you'll be able to access it.
