    Hello Everyone,

I would like to buy a wireless router so that i can use my laptop in other areas of my house. However i keep most of my files on an external USB hard drive. Is there a wireless router which i could plug my usb external hd into and have that shared along with my internet connection?

Is that possible? If so, which model do you all recommend?

    Thanks
    Rich

I don't think you could plug it in to a router, as the router doesn't share hardware, nor have the USB connection. What you could do is attach the drive to a PC, and enable sharing of that disk. Then the wireless network will pick up that PC, and you'll be able to access it.

Yeah that sounds more logical. Which model would you recommend?
