I have an 80gb samsung SP0802N IDE. The drive is recognised in the bios, and I am able to format and store files on it. The problem is, that I can only use it as a secondary drive because it will not boot. I have used the w2k and xp recovery consoles and created a new boot sector and MBR... to no avail... Any suggestions other than sending it back to Samsung ??? Thanks
yeah, and is the boot order correctly set in the BIOS ? is the drive detected as master or slave ? or are you using C/SEL ? [ot]i preffered it when your sniper was shooting at the birds karan[/ot]
