My parents bought this thing http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pr...665000FS10085967&catid=24137&logon=&langid=EN
And when i click directx (Newest) And just sits there till it craps out?? And tried a demo game just to test and big shocker the directx was missing files for it.

Does this have anything to do with the integrated video? They're not buying a videocard right now so wanted to make integrated work for now with good directx.

This the chipset. intel g965 express chipset family

 i was expecting a mobo when i follow that link but a grfx card appeared, if you have integrated grfx & a grfx card, is the integrated grafx disabled in the BIOS

BTW: which grafx are you currently using ?, have you tried uninstalling & reinstalling direct x, presumably you OS is XP SP2, correct ?

No the integrated graphics is installed. There is no normal videocard in that computer for now. I did not uninstall directx just tried to install it and nada.

Like directx says it can't connect and quits. And yes internet connection is working.
