xbox live and hdd

I was going to get a 360 tomarrow and trade in my xbox, but i just realised my xbox live info and credit card details are still ok my xbox hdd. Can it be wiped completely from the system?

Also how do i change the credit card details?

I dont actually think the credit card details are stored on the xbox hard drive, they are stored on xbox live server propberbly.
