Which memory is better??????

Hi people

I just wanted to find out which of the Two memory below is better, the battle between DDR2 and DDR3 is annoying me lol

Kingston HyperX 2GB DDR2 PC2-9600C5 1200MHz
- PC9600 1200MHz
- CAS 5-5-5-15
- 240pin, Non-ECC, Un-buffered DDR2 SDRAM DIMM
- 2.3V-2.4V

OR

OCZ 2GB DDR3 PC3-12800C7 1600MHz
- 1600MHz DDR3
- CL 7-6-6-20 (CAS-TRCD-TRP-TRAS)
- Unbuffered
- 1.9Volts
- 240 Pin DIMM

Personally i would go for the DDR2

What do you guys think?

I'm using Kingston HyperX at the moment (see My Computer). The performance is very good, especially for games. Haven't used OCZ before though.

The DDR2 is better, because it has lower timings (the lower, the better). The DDR3 chip has the timings 7-6-6-20, while the DDR2 chip has 5-5-5-15.

i read a benchmark test where the ddr3 even with the slower timings (9-9-9-24 i think it was) ran just as fast as the ddr2 with 5-5-5-15 timings...so if that was the case one would think that this ddr3 at 7-7-7-whatever it was would run faster then that ddr2 would....we would need to build 2 costly setups to find out 100% on that tho.
