I'd recommend that you call Nvidia tech support, or the manufacturer of your motherboard. That internal beep is a general error; could be caused by voltage problems (is your power source enough to support that card?) or it could even be your RAM or something else unrelated to your graphics card...

Just a general "you're probably ok" or a "you might need some more horsepower" is fine; I'm not going to hold anyone to it. Just looking for general impressions.
