Yep i've heard of it. It only keeps your temps at around 30c or so. Water cooling is still better.

    CPU Fan Upgrade

All that matters is that it fit the socket. And yes, this socket fits all LGA 775 sockets. Now what you want to make sure of is that it fit your case since this fan is pretty big (here's a pic just to get an idea). Good choice too on the copper heatsink... beats aluminum.

    [help]HDD SATA NOT DETECTED

Looks like you need to configure some options in BIOS. First off, to make things easier, make sure the drives are installed in SATA ports 0 and 1. Now, get into your BIOS. At the main menu, select "Integrated Peripherals". Set the "On-Chip Primary PCI IDE" to Enabled. Set the "On-Chip SATA Mode"...

Got it. Go here and wait for the online manual to load. Once it's loaded, jump to page 56. The picture shoes you exactly how you have to plug in the wires from your case onto the Panel.

    Upgrade, upto £400.

Welcome to HWF! Yep all those parts seem to fit. According to sources, the Bulldozer cores will use an AM3+ socket and are expected to be backwards compatible with current AM3 motherboards. So keep caution, as nothing is sure about that yet, You don't want to buy a motherboard with the incorrect...

few questions about cpu and memory upgrade

Nice! Which Pentium 4 did you end up getting? And which close software did you use? I use Acronis Migrate Easy... It's a bit hard to tell exactly how you plan on mounting it but i think i get the idea. You want to cut the caddy in half and mount it on to where the fan is? As for cutting the...

I've searched youtube on how to do this and i wasn't sure if i found what you're looking for. It seems that opening a hard drive and replacing parts is very risky and can lead to greater damage. I've never attempted such a procedure and wouldn't be of much guidance to you. Have you called...

CPU fan wont increase RPM when under load. HELP!

In BIOS, have you checked the Fan Speed Control, under Power > Hardware Monitor? Make sure all controls are set to the Duty Cycle setting and set at 100%. Edit: updating your BIOS may help as well. You can also set the the controls to Q-Fan Mode, which tells the fan to increase RPM when the...
