    1280x1024 not fullscreen

Is there a way to set the aspect ratio? Maybe it's set at 1280x1024 using the 16:9 or 16:10 ratio. It should be 4:3. Maybe there's a setting there, or you need to tweak the game files.

    lost noob...who'd of guessed it.

Welcome to HWF :) Are you using a separate graphics card, or is it integrated into the motherboard? You might need to connect the card to the power supply. What's the brand and type of the graphics card?

    23 " Cinema HD display

All Apple devices require a power adapter. A screen that works on USB would be very efficient :)

    23 " Cinema HD display

You can directly connect it to a PC, both the DVI connector and the USB connector. FireWire will only work if the PC has a FireWire output. As for the power cord, you'll need one. You might be able to get one at a local Apple store.

    Medal of Honor 2010

My biggest concern is the short gameplay. I managed to complete the Single Player campaign on Hard difficulty in 4-5 hours, so that was a disappointment. When I completed the campaign, I thought I just finished the prologue...

Any printer suggestion that works with OS 9?

HP offers drivers for Mac OS 9 on their website for the HP Deskjet printer series. You don't have to, just connect the printer and you're done. But this situation is like getting a brand new device to work with Windows '98. It's still possible, but you need to look for it :)

    Apple iPad

You can always purchase a MiFi adapter. That's a small device powered by a battery which converts a 3G connection to WiFi.

    New computer but keeping monitor

Welcome to HWF :) Your system (Dell Inspiron 570) has a VGA and an HDMI connector. You can connect an old monitor to this system's VGA connector perfectly, unless your monitor is older than 1987.

I think my HDD is giving up on me, what do you think?

You could try running the Samsung HUTIL diagnostics software to look for any problems with the drive. You can download an image for a floppy disc or CD From this page. Are you running Windows Vista or Windows 7? You could try disabling the Windows Search service, because it constantly indexes...

    Happy 42 everyone!

The date today is 10/10/10. Written in binary form it turns into the decimal number 42, the answer to life, the universe and everything. So a happy 42 to everyone :)

No, that isn't going to work unfortunately. I thought you already had a different CPU installed.

That's true. Preferably before you install the new CPU.

Pardon me, my bad. The Integrated GPU is located near the VGA connector of the mobo. You can use a CPU with a lower FSB frequency on a mobo with a higher FSB. This works, but the CPU will run at a higher clock rate. This makes it run faster, but could cause overheating. Lowering the FSB...

Welcome to HWF :) I think you mean AGP, which is a slot to install a graphics card (predecessor of PCI Express). IGP is a network routing protocol. If your FSB frequency has been configured to a higher rate than the CPU, it gets overclocked to a higher clock speed. This could damage the CPU or...

    Busted PSU?

Welcome to HWF :) Is it a new build, or did it work fine before? Do you know the brand and model of each PSU and Motherboard?

GTX 460: Low 3DMark Vantage Score

Welcome to HWF :) The first thing you should do is installing the latest drivers for your graphics card from the NVidia website.

    Urgent help needed!

First of all, remove the current Nvidia graphics driver. Afterwards you can use Driver Sweeper to clean any leftovers which haven't been uninstalled. Then install the latest Nvidia graphics driver. If that doesn't solve the problem, it has to be an issue with the graphics card itself.

    Nvidia or ATI

From my personal experience I'd vote for ATI. Their latest cards (HD4870 and HD58070) perform really great regardless of the game you're running.

I think I like the new iPod Touch 4

The new iPod Nano is terrible in my opinion. The design is just like "lets just paste a screen onto a piece of aluminium", not impressive. If I want a nano, I'd certainly get the previous model with the ClickWheel.
