Nintendo has good design strategies for each of their home systems I believe its just their games that slack off. To me such as their rerelease of the same game over and over again. Example, their gameboy line most games produced by them are the same from te original game just a bigger price tag. :)

The setup looks fine, as BIG B said the fans supplied are fine the case comes with a 120mm I believe and your heat sink should be fine. I would suggest you get a good set of small screw drivers and 2 large philip head screw drivers ( anti shock if you feel insecure) and a Anti static wrist band...

The Cool Master case you posted is very good especially considering the price many user on this forum have it and havent had any problems with it its quite. The case is really your opinion because it matches your style.

yeah actually CRTs are good for gaming so a 22in CRT is great beats my 2 17in monitors good system so far

I hope he gets one with a heatsink because, from what I heard from newegg the M7 stopped coming with heatsinks on the south bridge ..hopefully that was just newegg's shipment otherwise you should be fine as Big B stated. I have a similar motherboard and it works great.

I mean on my old system I had the sam exact DVD rom drive and worked find infact that was my only optical drive. The CDRW drive is new though so that might be it, its a Sony but it set as the slave anyway, Im downloadind mandriva 2006 .( this is gonna take a while) BTW I just finish downloading...
