    Will it boot from a cd ? Or will it go into safe mode ?Could be a Virus or Hard drive going Bad.. Try Spinrite or Hard drive Regenator ..

    Different Woodcrest Processors in Dual Socket M/B

    NO ! One is 2.6 ghz and the other is 2.0 ghz... They MUST MATCH... Plus the other one must match with the same matching number are the first one..

    Boot up into Windows 7 to see if it does the same there...It is probably just linux..

    When you installed a new Motherboard, ALL your drivers will change... You will have to Wipe the hard drive and install a fresh copy of what ever...
