I go to put linux on my laptop. I put my cd in the drive and it boots from disc and tell me do i want graphical or text (I have tried both) Then...

Its okay in the end i put my windows cd back in and ran that like i was going to install windows 2000 but after the install rather than rebooting...

Im putting linux on the laptop with win 2000 on. Usually I just reformat drives with the windows disc but the linux disc doesnt have that option....

lol yup its deffinately a .iso EDIT: its okay i copied another disc and it worked must of been a faulty disc

Kk thanks - Also I downloaded Cobind and just copied to disc but it wouldnt boot :confused: Is there a certain way to copy it to disc??
