    You probably can't insert a new video card to your laptop. The only manufacturers that I know of that supports graphics card upgrade in laptops are: Asus and MSI. :(

    It's a laptop and apparently one that only has integrated gpu, not a discret gpu (nvidia or radeon). Sorry, you can't manually assign RAM on your integrated Intel HD 4000 Gpahics, if there was a way, I don't know how, but it's likely you can't.

    Windows automatically allocates some of your RAM for your GPU.. I have a 1Gb 650 Ti, and 8 Gb Kit of Corsair RAM, dxdiag shows my GPU has an approx. total memory of 2750MB.

    AMD A6/A8/A10 are fine, A10 will especially play recent games on medium or high settings without a discrete GPU. You can also look into a Phenom ll 965 Black Edition or an FX-4100/6100.

    Better RAID the three HDDs and don't include the SSD.. The speed of will be the lowest speed among the drives that you had RAID.. Also, to RAID an SSD and HDD is not recommended, because of the statement above mentioned. :D

    Windows 7 64 bit, is about 14Gb for me, but with updates it runs up to 17-19Gb.. I have an SSD, works fine, although my computer has a slight issue I'm trying to resolve.. Get an SSD from a reliable manufacturer that way you'll be happy with the SSD and you trust the company.
