    I had that for a while, the CPU runs at a constant 100% and really slows the computer down. It happened with me when I opened a certain folder. I looked at processes and it said that system idle was using all the CPU. I think it' a virus in the program, try installing it again. if that fails...

    OUt of interest, if the CPU's bust but all the other hardware is fine, will the computer get anywhere, or will it simply refuse to do anything?
