512MB XFX GeForce 8600GT Graphics Card ---- HELP!!!!

Im not sure if you will be able to help me or not.. But because you know about graphics card you might :) I have just brought one of the latest game turok for the pc, and found out that my graphics card is out of date (due to sound playing, but no dispaly).. I have got a motherboard that supports these pci specs One PCI Express x16 slot (supports PCI Express Bus specification v1.0a compliant) • One PCI Express x4 slots (support PCI Express x2 only) • One PCI Express x1 slots (support PCI Express Bus specification v1.0a compliant) • Four 32-bit v2.3 Master PCI bus slots (support 3.3v/5v PCI bus interface). I am trying to find out if I can use a graphic cards that has the 2.0 interface on it.. Or which type of graphic cards do I need to get??

Hmmm. PCI-E 1.1a only supports PCI-E 2.0. There may still be a chance that you can run a much better graphics card, But just incase if i were you i would get a 8800GTX, which is the only significantly better PCI-E 1.0 graphics card.

PS: try Updating your drivers by going to nvidia's site and selecting drivers and choosing your Graphics card. It may solve your problem
