i'm not to sure actually, I'm not ver computer literate. My friend actually built it for me so I'm not sure of the power supply or running temperatures. Is there a way to check the temps with xp ?ninja fetus said:what power supply are you using?
how are the temperatures in your case, and your card?
I have a p4 2.4 ghz, with 512 ddr ram, 80 gb harddrive, audigy 2 soudcard and a generic case. I will check with a friend tomorrow, and try switching out a few things! Thanks for the help so far and I will update this thread tomorrow with the outcome. If the problem persists, I will inform of what was down and hopefully you guru's can help me.ninja fetus said:It's likely to be the power supply then. Get in touch with your friend and if it's the power supply that came with the case then there's a very small chance it will be able to power a 9800 pro AIW system.
Can you give any specs for the rest of the system?
Hmm, I haven't overclocked the card yet, so it shouldn't be that. A month ago it would progress to be worse and worse, and now it just pops up almost instantly.pelvis_3 said:This sort of thing is very common with either Bad Video Card RAM or Overclocking the Video card RAM too much!
When this happens does it happen suddenly or progress to be worse and worse?
And does it freeze your computer at all?
