abit fatality motherboard

hi i have a abit fatality motherboard and since they havent been out long there is still somebugs but i wonder if u could fix them b4 those egg heads do?????? when i boot up it always starts in fail safe mode can i stop this??

Did you change anything major before this incident? Like delete some components, install new drives etc? You may have to perform a system restore if that is the case. You could also try updating the boards bios too, that may very well do the trick and should be done now and then anyway.
 
In my fatal1ty MOBO the Northbirge fan is not working as it suppose to. I have to open up the chasis and give it a push start with my hand to get it to start rotating.
Regarding your problem, I guess the first thing it, try clearing the CMOS. You could do it easily via U-Guru panel.
Or secondly, go to the BIOS check the processor speed setting. Sometimes it is set to "User defined". If it is change it to "Default" or "auto" whatever it was, i can't remember.
 
Yeah, I mean you're powersupply is most likely not the problem here. Try clearing the CMOS. Leave the battery out for 5 minutes and pop it back in. If that doesn't work leave it out overnight and then try it. Be very careful taking it out though.
 
It's possible that you'r CPU is overclocked, or the memory timings are set to aggresive. This forces your BIOS to go into Safe Mode, so you can re-set your speeds. Try loading the fail-safe defaults and work your way up from there.
 
If you have the U-Guru panel you don't need to take out the battery,..
Just push the red button twice,... easy lol
