iTWire - Asus eeePC violates GPL say Linux stalwarts Yeah, i would just like to say, to start, that the Linux community has to be truly crazy to be complaining about any kind of Linux publicity. They are going to put Linux on a very hugely popular peace of hardware, and complaining about it is only going to hurt the situation. That said, Xandros doesn't comply with GPLv3, but none the less it is a GREAT OS to get some one into Linux, its a very nice transition from Windows. It also has some nice features and "easily" allows you to connect to Windows based machines, bottom line.
It would really help if you included a link to the topic you're talking about, citing a reference to this "uproar".
HAHAHA, yeah, i actually did post the link, but for whatever reason, it decided it wanted to be invisible. On a side note, calm down Addis, it will be ok.
