Audio Cassettes onto CD

Hi There my name is Jeff and I live in Stafordshire in the UK, I am a newbie, so please bear with me!, I have a lot of Audio Cassettes (Spoken Word) and I would like to transfer/burn them onto a CD to enable me to play them in my car, but I havent got a clue how to do it, I am running Windows XP Professional and have a CD Re-Writer which I use a programme called "Win On CD (Roxio) I am Ok at burning CDs but dont know how to transfer my cassettes, my cassette player does not have the "Line In/Line Out Plugs" at the back, but I have recently bought a microphone hoping I could use this. but basically I havent got a clue! can somebody help preferably explaining in laymans language.

that website should help, I'e done it before with my old tapes, not hard if you've got the right stuff, use the headphone out on your tape player to connect it to the line-in on your computer, then use a recording porogram to record from the right source (line-in port)
