Autorun.inf files just dont!

Hey, howz it goin people?

I recently customised my start button as described here: Windows Hack: Change The Windows Start Button Text | Samanathon.com

After doing this none of the autorun.inf files are working! I have googled this and found a few reg values to check but they all seem to be fine, this is'nt a major issue as it was only icons but I miss them, haha!!

Forgot to mention I have also used Tweak UI to enable autorun on all drives but this does'nt help! Also used gpedit.msc and disabled the turn off autoplay in computer config and user config - admin templates > system!

I would go back to the backup of explorer.exe to make sure the hack isnt causing this problem.

yeah it is the hack that has done it but I was hoping for the best of both worlds!!

I thought maybe it was because explorer had been re-named that autorun was'nt launching through it, like I said I've googled it but could'nt find anything in the reg that tells autoruns to use explorer!!
