Hello Hardwareforums!!!!!!!!!
Something wird happened to my bios.
I was changing the thermal paste on my cpu, and at the moment i turned on my computer i recognized, that i didnt installed the heatsin right, so i pushed the power button to turn off the computer (it was the moment when xp was booting) and to install the heatsink right. When i pushed the power button i got a bluescreen, which said, that my bios is not completely ACPI compatible. ( but it is 100%)
So i installed the heatsink and turned my compaq computer back on.
AND THEN IT HAPPENED:
MY COMPAQ BIOS LOGO CHANGED TO AN HP LOGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :x:
Isnt that wird?
My computer works fine and i installed XP new to, so no problems....
Its just the bios screen, whats worreiing me :confused:
Why did it changed?
The bios setup itself didnt changed, only the logo at the start.
I tried to clear cmos, load setup default and i asked google, but couldnt finde out anything.
Does any one know anything about it?
My hardware:
MSI-6390 Motherboard
AMD Athlon XP 2400+ @ 2GHz
768MB RAM
Ati radeon 7000
