Broken Physical serial Port

Hi people, here, my simple electronic/hardware question :

It's possible to take a serial port from one motherboard and put it in other
motherboard, my serial port it's failing.

That would only be possible if you're very good at soldering. But I would suggest to purchase a separate serial port which can be inserted into one of the expansions slots, like this one: VSCOM Serial Card PCI Low Profile, 1 port RS-232 PCI-RS232LP1 LOW PRICE $27.98
Alternatively there are also external serial ports available to connect to a USB port.

RHochstenbach, first thanks for your reply, , I'm not good at soldering, but an electronic engineer must do it, I live in Cuba so the option of buy that card isn't for me. About that external serial port via usb it's interesting, thank you.
