BTEC National Diploma for IT Practitioners?

I'm just about to start College and have applied to do a BTEC National Diploma for IT Practitioners.

Has anyone done this or a simular course and if so what was it like? :)
 
I do BTEC National Diploma Application and Design, allthought I dont know if its the same at all but it's not what I wanted to do. Does the course you on have allot of Hardware related subjects?
