Building new pc with 0 experience!

Hello everyone, i am new to this forums and i've been researching about computers ever since i am going to buy and build one myself!
So basically, i want to buy a PC for as well as gaming and multi-tasking stuff, such as projects for school.
I've got a horrid pc atm, so here's the specs for my upcoming pc:

CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition
Case: Cooler Master Scout
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL
GPU: XFX Radeon HD 5870 1GB GDDR5 PCI-E

I've got the other stuff, so first of all, which motherboard should I get? I've done so much research but as a 15 years old guy, i simply don't understand which motherboard is the best. Also, is a 650W PSU enough for this system? I'm going to play most of the latest games, so i think this system should be okay :p

And i've read about bottlenecks, will something in this system bottleneck something? Such as the CPU which is a hexa-core and it might be too much for the old XFX-Radeon HD 5870. But this new system must fit a budget which is around 500-600 euro's and it fits perfectly, but i don't want any problems.

I hope some of you are able to help me and please make it so simple enough, because i'm from The Netherlands and my English isn't perfect...yet!

edit: Yea i forgot, i'm not planning to OC anything and get CrossfireX later.
 
Whats your budget for the motherboard like? And yes, 650W is more than enough. I don't see any bottlenecking in sight; it's a good system ;).
 
Thanks for the answer about the PSU, and my budget for the motherboard is around 75-125 euro's, i've got a tight budget >.<

@cube, thanks for the reply, unfortunately that motherboard is quite expensive in The Netherlands.

edit: Oh and I have found a cheap 700W, I hope it's good enough :D

Is the PSU good enough for the other stuff? Also it's modulair and i think it has the right cables for the GPU. A motherboard only now! I've chosed for this:

ASRock 870 Extreme3

Any feedback would be nice, and i'm not planning on OC anything or use CrossfireX.
 
Good PSU. I like the specs of the motherboard but i ever had an ASRock motherboard and can't say they're great. Though they seem to have slipped into the industry and lots of users like em.
 
Yea as many reviews i've read, most people have said that. Though there was a flaw on the mobo, something with a plug too close to where you insert the GPU. But I think it's a good option even though i have no experience in mostly motherboards. Thanks for your feedback. I hope some ultra expert pro man/girl can come in and give me some advice.

However, I'm surprised it isn't cheaper to buy from yr dealer who will put the bits together and load the OS....this is certainly "cheaper" in the UK, even than putting it together yourself. Strange but true.
Also he will know any software tricks and be able to set-up the BIOS update using another PC, wheras you may not want to attempt this. If a part proves faulty, it will be exchanged even before you see it running. Give him some idea of any expansion plans so he will use the best mbd and parts to achieve this.

I've done this, sometimes specifying the case separately, if I don't like his range. I did have to change the PSU, though - it was too noisy but you can't know this until the thing is in the home working. That cost me an extra 50 euro-equiv.

Where are you getting this tech-helper? Won't they need paying, if you expect them to put it together?
You have to allow something for the OS, unless you're content with Ubuntu.

@Henry222, alright it's cheaper to buy each part separately and assemble the computer. I've got an older brother who can help me with this, he's got enough experience as well. I am going to use 64-bit software. I will use windows as OS and it's quite hard for me to understand a word of what you're saying, partially because you're using some damn epic sentences. Thanks anyways.

Strange indeed. Here in the US, we pay for parts+labor. It's easy enough to buy a cheap Dell where the price is "all inclusive"... but where's the fun in that?

You're right. Gave me quite a scare there for a sec :p. But in all seriousness, I always try and give my best advice and never give a go unless i'm sure of what i say. If you decide to go with the ASRock come back and let us know if you run into trouble with the build!
 
I probably will if all will go wrong, i can blame you right? Joke:(
