Cheap but adequete replacement

I built a pc for someone 3 years ago which had a Creative FX5700 ultra graphics card which has now died.... flashing screen and artifacts everywhere.

Given this card did the job for the games he played ( i think its just stuff like the total war games, c&c n stuff) what do you guys think would be a good replacement. Id imagine all cards are better than this one now but I want to replace it with something that will last a few more years.... Its an AGP 8x board.

After having a look on ebuyer it seems im limited when it comes to nvidia.

6600gt £90
7600gs £55-100

I dont know which ati cards are the same or better than the 5700 ultra so I dont know where to start with those.

I cant believe a £25 graphics card is more powerful than my pc :)

I think that the ATI equivellant of the FX5700s is the 9600 XT... but yeah, you can get better with an extra 20$.
