Last night my PC froze up so I just reset the machine. As it was booting up the was no signal to my monitor so I reset the machine again. Once again there was no signal to the monitor and after about 10 seconds the machine powered itself off.
I have encountered this porblem before and it turned out the graphcs card had died. But this time the POST LCD screen on my Asus Crosshair motherboard has corrupted looking like a damaged digital watch and stays in this state without giving any POST info on startup.
Could this mean the motherboard has died?
