CPU fan not working

hi there..my cpu fan isnt spinning..tats why my pc always freezes while im playing games :doh: so ive taken out the cpu fan plug n reinserted it but with no luck..so plz help me out dudes.....

Sounds like the fan has burned out, you can check this by plugging it into another computer... if it doesnt work on that one then your going to have to buy a new one :/

PS if you havn't got another computer to test it with you could use a battery and some paper clips (do this at your own risk though, not that i can see much risk!)

give the fan a flick (in the direction it should go, that may be enough to make it start spinning)[ot]but replace the fan ASAP if this works or not, as the fan is having problems[/ot]
