Creating Hot-Key Device

Hi friends, this is my first post here.

I was just wondering if I can some-how have a device so that I can have a hot-key combination device so that I just need to press one key to play a particular key-combination.

Basically, we have to record the signal code being sent once and then sending it explicitly from our device each-time the key of device is pressed.

Please help...
