crossover cable internet feeding question.

Okay, I have a macbook that can feed internet via crossover cable to my PC desktop and a PC desktop belonging to my brother. I'd like to be able to give them both internet at once, so if I use two crossover cables and one of these little bastards—

Can I plug that into the macbook, plug two crossover cables into it, and feed internet to both desktops simultaneously?

instead just get a wireless router for like $30.
even though it says wireless it will have 4 ports on the back to hard-wire a connection.
this way you can allow a separate device to manage the network and internet sharing and not your computer.
this will allow all 3 of you and 1 more to join in on the internet at the same time wired or wireless.
