Dual-screen setup using DVI and VGA?

Hi guys,

I'm using a Powercolor 7850 PCS+ trying to get it to work on two displays. But, I only have one DVI cable. So I used the included DVI>VGA adapter to connect the secondary (bottom port) display using a VGA cable but it doesn't seem to be working. Windows and Catalyst both cannot detect the second screen. Autodetect also doesn't do anything; it still says no input detected.

Any ideas?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, I got confused. So the working monitor is on the DVI cable connected to the GPU, the one that won't work is the one with the VGA cable with the DVI to VGA adapter on the GPU. Am I right?
