Hi all
I am using Windows XP Pro so I think I am in the right place...
I am at work (for a change...hehe) and I have a USB DVD-Writer connected to my machine. The computer (which, BTW, only has a CD-ROM drive) recognises it as it has been conncted before.
I can see it under the device manager but not under 'My Computer'.
Also when I use the burning software it recognises it as the 'burn to' device.
I have the same 'problem' when I connect a USB CD-Writer (I share the hardware with other users so normaly I use the CD-Writer but sometimes I need to burn a DVD or retreive data from a DVD disk). It is not a massive problem but does get annoying if I am trying to access a DVD disk's content and the DVD disk does not auto play.
Any ideas?
