Firefox Hidden Message!

Geek Geek Geek!
This is probably common knowledge, but i've only just found it :)

I was pretty bored at work, so I decided to type in 'about:mozilla' in the address bar in Firefox. This is what displayed on the screen:

And so at last the beast fell and the unbelievers rejoiced.
But all was not lost, for from the ash rose a great bird.
The bird gazed down upon the unbelievers and cast fire
and thunder upon them. For the beast had been
reborn with its strength renewed, and the
followers of Mammon cowered in horror.

from The Book of Mozilla, 7:15

I like it! :)

Sounds rather cryptic...perhaps has underlying references to Firefox rising to take over Internet Explorer in that respect?

Beast Fell - the only 'real' option for internet browsing fell as FF rose...those not believing in M$ were happy with the prospect of a better browser...ashes of IE great bird...phoenix....like firefox, thunderbird...security 'strength renewed'....

Oh, and for the record ;)

Mammon is used in the Bible to describe material wealth or avarice.

I think the beast is referring to Netscape, and Firefox rising from its ashes as a better browser. Mammon is the IE reference.

I think you're right. After all, Netscape has faded away, and is now nothing more then an IE shell
