Ive read that formating conventional hard disks is not enough to prevent people from accessing information on them. Special software is needed to completely wipe everything on the drive.
Ive read that new solid state drives (SSD) have a number of advantages over convential types. Do they address the above issue as well?
In otherwords, once you wipe a SSD is all the information on it permanently deleted also?
