I think it might be because of the darkblue cells, it may give the illusion of jerkiness?

No scrolling itself is actually slower. With the light colour, its pretty quick and instant, with the dark colours, its slowly and gradual.

speaking of changes, have you added anything to the coding that makes certain words 'hyperlinked'?

Just checked a thread and it had IDE and SATA appearing like a hyperlink.

Doesn't work for me, but clearing my cache just sped up my MSN transfer rate by 10000x!! so thanks for that!

I'll try it in IE, see if that works.

EDIT:#It works for me using the new dark blue/black theme, but not the normal.

I cleared out my cache and tried the dark theme again, but it's still a little laggy. Mind you, whatever you changed made it literally 2x faster than it was. But it's still causing some kind of rendering performance issue. Maybe you should set the lighter theme as the default?

Sorry AT - nothing against you, but i've now tested the Dark Theme (the new one) on:
MAC OSX 10.3.4-10.3.8 - All work fine
    MAC OS 9 - IE5 - Laggy
Linux - SuSe Enterprise Server - Fine
    Linux - SuSe 9.1 / Pro - Fine
    Linux - FeatherLinux - Fine
    Linux - GentooAMD64 - Fine
    Windows 2K Pro - Fine
    Windows XP Pro - Fine
    Windows Home - Fine

All with multiple browsers FireFox / Armadillo e.t.c

all work fine, except IE5 on MAC OS 9 - the original theme sucks hard - the new one is MUCH better, please put it back as original - AT perhaps try a differerent browser?

I never said it was a Linux issue, but that it was Firefox in Linux. If I use a non-Mozilla browser, like Konqueror, it works fine. Konqueror just happens to suck. :p If you like the new theme, great! I think it's good, but I like the old color scheme better. I do like dark colors though. As a matter of fact, if it was up to me I'd have closer to white on black rather than vise-versa. It's much easier on the eyes that way; black on white on a monitor is like staring into a light bulb.

I have to agree i'd have the colours inverted to white on black - not black on white :)

    *HINT* :p

I'm running FireFox and Windows 2000 Pro and i'm not having any problems.

Those who are experiencing problems what graphics card are you running?

Also do you have FireFox 1.0.1?

Like I said Sniper...I think it looks great...and I don't see any difference at all in performance except that it seems to scroll a little jumpy...but I had the same problem with the old set-up too.
You just need to adapt the logo to the new colours.

    Eg :good:

I have a NVidia FX5900, running driver 1.0-6629 (latest as of this writing). Konqueror renders this page with haste, so it may be a plugin issue more than a video one. I've attached my about:plugins report as HTML in a zip file. When I have the chance, I'll disable plugins one at a time and see if any of them are causing the latency.
