Yeah, so i just found this, but apparently, Google's browser gained 1% of the market in just 9 hours, thats intense, and just goes to show the power that Google wields.

There is no version for mac or linux... sad, sad, sad...; I'd really like to know what is exactly the thing they're after. I mean - there are already google toolbars for all the most popular and major browsers and they offer a lot of google functionality. So, that couldn't be it. Also, would google go as far as posting adwords or something through their own browser to make more money or allow certain google-made pop-ups to "slip" through the pop-up filter? I don't get it. It's really at a infant stage of grwoth and I would've just put the news out that the browser is in the making, not give the first simple BETA to the public. Bad move, in my opinion.

Yes, its a little different, but one thing i do like is the lack of a toolbar, there is a lot more space for viewing webpages, i like it (yes F11 in firefox, but yeah) Also, gmail has been in beta for like three years now, as same with Froogle, so, it may never get past its beta phase.
