Hello everybody,
I'm assembling a new computer and ran into a problem. The graphics card seems to keep rebooting. It sounds like it keeps trying to start up.
- Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3
- AMD Phenom II X4 955 3,2GHz Black Edition
- Antec TruePower TP-550- Powersupply
- Kingston ValueRAM 2 x 2 GB DDR3 1333MHz
- Asus ATI Radeon 5850 PCI Express 2.1 x16 1GB DDR5
Everything seems to be connected and powered. When I try to start it up it gives no beeps or sounds that are out of place. When I run it without the graphics card it seems to be okay, but there's no onboard graphics card so I have no way of checking.
Also: I have not yet put thermal interface material on the CPU as I only wanted to test if it all worked. Is this important to do, because I haven't done this for my other pc I've assembled. (an i7)
Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Tijn.
