Hi to all,
I have a friend who has 2 computers on his fishing boat. Almost every trip he makes he blows a graphics card in one of the computers, it is usually the same computer each time. He takes the computer to a "professional" computer repair shop, they investigate and install a new card and send him on his way. No one seems to look for the fault as to "why" the cards keep blowing. Has anyone any ideas?
Could the monitor send a "bad" signal back to the card and blow it?
Could the cable be at fault?
Bearing in mind, the computer would have been on continuously for more than 120 hours before the problem arose.
TIA
Keith
