Uhm.. So I was playing the game 'Spiral Knights' with some friends just for fun while skyping, and suddenly my PC crashed. Just didn't react anymore. Instantly. Well, I decided to turn off the computer, and restarted it. In the booting screen I got the message: WARNING! CPU Overheat! - "Press F1 to resume" - I pressed F1 and my computer booted. I ran a software called 'CoreTemp' I had on my computer from old times, when I just wanted to know my CPU Temperature. Back then the cores had about 60-70 degree Celsius. This time they all had about 90 degree Celsius. Shocked as I was, I turned off my computer instantly. Now I'm here on my mom's Laptop begging for help.. What shall I do? My computer was always well cooled, and still is. It's just the CPU. I don't know which coolers I have exactly. Just one below my CPU (rly small one) and two rather big ones.

Here are some hardware information:
CPU: Intel Core i7 920
Motherboard: Asus P6T SE
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260
RAM: 6GB

Please help me!!

is your cpu fan running?
does it overheat right away from being off a long time or does it take a little bit?
have you tried resetting your bios settings?
what about reseating the cpu with fresh dab of arctic silver and heatsink/fan?

Yeah, dust is a killer man. I remember hearing this crazy warcry from my girlfriends pc... i opened it up, cleared an army of dust out of the heatsink, and the thing became as silent as a ninja
