    It will work, but it won't be fully recognized. Instead of say 200GB, you'll be missing around 63GB. Not because of anyone's fault, it's just that, at the time, 80GB was really huge (I remember when 40GB was a huge drive), and the limitations of the current address scheme hadn't hit the 137GB barrier. Therefore, there wasn't a need for the OS to have to address this at the time. You can either download it from Microsoft or order it from them for free. If you have DSL or Cable, I suggest you download it...the Service Pack will be around 100MB.

    [google]Spybot[/google] is about the best spyware detection and removal software, not to mention free.

    i guy before u sed if u have atleast service pack 1 it will be recognized

    Specifically, it can't recognize the full capacity. It'll see the drive, but not all 160GB of it.
