HELP - PWR2 Constant Reboot

HI,

It starded by having no image in the screen, then the PC stop booting.

I took it all apart, clean, etc and the PC worked after removing 1 RAM unit.

After a while, I restarted the PC and it started nonstop reboots. Normally in BIOS or before the screen showing anything, other times I can get into windows until I restart the PC and it goes again on rebooting loop.

I bought a new power supply and nothing.

I took the PC apart again, and noticed that without the power supply cable connected to the PWR2 the PC doesn't go on reboot loop, but there is no image in the screen.


MB: Foxconn P43A
Processor: Duo Core
Graphics: 8800 GTS
Testes Power Supplies: 750W and 630W
 
This could be a number of things, you will have hunt down the problem.. Try One ram stick at a time, then switch them.. Could be a bad ram stick. Next Test your hard drive for errors.. Also check out your PSU..
 
Thats exactly what I meant by taking it all apart, and putting on components step by step. What I learned is: that without the power supply cable connected to the PWR2 the PC doesn't go on reboot loop, but there is no image in the screen.
 
Ok, what PWR2 connection are you talking about???? Where does this connection go? There is only One real main connection that goes to the Motherboard..
 
PWR2 goes for processor, and I used MB utilities and it seems the processor is overheating.

So... is it the processor itself or too much power being provided to it?
 
What is the temp of the cpu ? Foxconn Motherboards seem to have allot of Problems... I know because I have one that is Always giving me problems... I will never buy another one of those.. If your temp is over 60 degrees then it is running hot.. It could just be that you need to re apply some thermal paste..
 
You're CPU is toasty, a little jam or cheese and its good to go! BTW, are you sure all your RAM works fine? try your RAM in another computer if you can find any. Can you give the full specs of your PC to better help you.
Note: if you can find a spare pc with a different motherboard than Foxconn, try you GPU, CPU and ram there. Did you plug in the 6 pin power connector to GPU?
 
I've scanned for virus. The computer worked fine for a few days, then it restarted and guess what... constant reboot again :\

Yeah I did plug the power connector on the GPU.

Most of the people I know have laptops, so it isn't that easy for me to try on another computer or try components on mine.

2 of my ram seem to be not working (the computer beeps), but the 3rd was working fine.

"You're CPU is toasty, a little jam or cheese and its good to go!" what?

Can you tell me which specs you want me to provide?
 
Another problems that occured:

1 - The PC was asking for bootable media

(I removed one hard disk)

2 - The PC started but couldn't make it into windows, the screen remained black (but activated).

3 - The screen doesn't activate.

4 - I got a blue screen saying "data something" ( couldn't see because the computer restarted), then another blue screen with "memory management".
 
removed the ram, and inserted it again, and the computer booted, and I'm on windows now... wtf.. this is why I would never want to work with computers, so many stupid issues :\
 
Your Motherboard is no good... pull the CPU and ram and get another Motherboard....Get either a Gigabyte or an Asus... make sure to buy the same socket..
