Help with Media on sony vaio

Hi, We've just recently bought a sony vaio and as I was loading all our music on, noticed that the c drive was filling up very quickly. We then copied our music to the d drive, but now I have 2 of every track in my media player. How can I delete all that is saved on c drive and just keep what's on d drive? Sorry to sound so dim, but this is all new to me lol. :confused:

Wait you copied the music from the c drive to the d drive or from a music cd to the d drive?

You simple need to locate the music files on the c drive and delete them buy selecting them and clicking delete on the keyboard.

Thanks for your reply. We copied all our discs onto media player and they were on the c:drive. We needed to free the space so copied them to d:drive. I then deleted all the music in the c:drive, but there is still 2 entries for everything in media player, one on c:drive and one on d:drive. Other than physically clicking on every single duplicated item (of which there are thousands), is there any other way I can do it?

Select all the entries and delete them, then add the new entries again which should be much easier...
