Heya I wanna build a cheap gaming computer

Hey there, i want to build a gaming computer on the cheap say - £200.

Here are the components im thinking of buying off ebuyer.com

Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800 - £46.21
MotherBoard: MSI K9N6SGM - V GeForce 6100 socket AM2 - £29.74
RAM: Corsair 2GB kit DDR2 800MHZ - £31.14
HardDrive: Maxtor 250GB SATAII 8MB cache - £29.99
Case ATX: Casecom KB - 7720BK Black ATX Midi Tower Case - £10.60
PSU: Corsair VX450WUK 450W PSU - £43.99

Please let me know what u think, i have looked at all the specs of everything and it looks to me that everything is compatible with each other.

Although I can't say for certain, those parts look compatible. You don't have a graphics card listed?

The motherboard has a GeForce 6100 integrated, which my last (2 year old) PC had, and was abismal. If your budget is strictly £200, then you may consider an Xbox 360. You will be able to play games with much better visuals than you would be able to on any PC for a similar price.

Also, the case you have offered.

You can take HDD with less space. I didnt find anything but a high capacity HDDs from Samsung.

You dont need such a powerful PSU for that kind of system.

P.S. Well, you will be able to do some gaming. At least you will be able to enjoy HD video.

It's exceeding your limits, but thats what I would offer :)
 
ok but do the parts i listed fit together? and r they good??

I have a dvd drive and a g card - PCI 9250 128MB ATI RADEON - or im willing to get a new one

Ok, I understand the satisfaction from building a new PC - I have a PS3 but I still spent more on a PC which doesn't play games as well.

The 9250 is nothing compared to some of the cards available today. I think you need to consider what games you want to play, and what their system requirements are. Playing Crysis with decent graphics on a PC which costs about £200 is unrealistic, at the moment at least.

The configuration which you have picked is good, but I think the addition of a newer graphics card (maybe an 8600GT - about £50) would really improve the overall gaming.
