I can't get my windows running.

Dear all!

I am LUCK, using Windows XP. I was re-setting up my Winodws XP and while it's formatted, I got an alert saying that one file was lost while copying new files to my computer. Then I decided to turn off and try to set up again but I can't because I get s.th as below:
1. Verifying DMI Pool Data......
2. Boot from CD:
3. Boot from CD:
4. NTLDR is missing
5. Press Ctrl + Alt + Del to restart.
I decided to Press "Ctrl + Alt + Del to restart.", but I still get s.th as above.
Be sure that I was trying 3 or 4 Windows CDs and CD-Roms and the problem still occurs.

Please let me know what was wrong with my computer. For more information, please let me know.

Please help to explain more about this.

If the file is missing, you can try this fix using your windows xp cd that I found on another website :

Windows XP users
  1. Insert the Windows XP bootable CD into the computer.
  2. When prompted to press any key to boot from the CD, press any key.
  3. Once in the Windows XP setup menu press the "R" key to repair Windows.
  4. Log into your Windows installation by pressing the "1" key and pressing enter.
  5. You will then be prompted for your administrator password, enter that password.
  6. Copy the below two files to the root directory of the primary hard disk. In the below example we are copying these files from the CD-ROM drive letter, which in this case is "e." This letter may be different on your computer.

    copy e:\i386\ntldr c:\
    copy e:\i386\ntdetect.com c:\
  7. Once both of these files have been successfully copied, remove the CD from the computer and reboot. "
In the above fix, where it says copy e: the e should really be whatever drive letter your CD rom drive is. It may be different depending upon how many drives you have on the computer. Other than that, just type into the command line those 2 commands listed above and hit enter after each one. It may look scary if you have never used a command line before but its not so bad really :) If that does not work, there are other things you can try - this website has several different solutions, but it all depends on why the error is coming up. http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000465.htm
