I'm having a Jack & Coke right now. I think my favorite vice is something with Jack Daniels in it...or just straight Jack. I've been working on a bottle of the No.7 with the Old Time sour mash...and I actually like it a little better than the regular black label stuff. It's a little smoother.

I hate bud. Right Now I'm enjoying a Carlsberg, got in from being out with friends eating pizza and now time for a beer.
Last Friday me and some friends sat at a friends house drinking till 4am (from about 9pm after going out for a meal), that was fun, I tried some stuff called Apple Sourz and it's flipping lovely, tastes like apple Hubba Bubba mixed with those sour apple sugar show lace things you get. I also had some Cherry vodka and thought cherry vodka and coke would be like cherry coke and vodka.
I love cherry coke but the cherry vodka and coke was vile, this stuff was so strong.
[ot]My lizard died last night, she's been ill for a while and hasn't eaten, it's kind of been 'on the cards' really and she died while I was holding her, it was horrible, I'd had her for 8 years and she was great. I can't imagine my desk without her next to me, I keep wanting to turn the light on in her vivarium (it's meant to be on during the day) but then I remember she's not in there. :crying: [/ot]

Poof juice: double JD & Coke, double southern comfort and coke, smirnof ice

I'm not your typical American. I buy beers that are deep brown or darker, preferring stouts, porters and strong ales. Lately I've really been stuck on Stone beers such as their oh-so-tasty IPA and their famous Arrogant Bastard ale. But I love my Guiness black & tan, MacTarnahan's Blackwatch (porter), pretty much anything that will make poseurs gag. :)
As for mixed drinks, I tend to stay away from girly drinks with too much sugar (aka hangovers in a glass!) and anything with a lot of gin in it. I love my gin, but the Scotch/Irish in me comes out when I drink it and I end up in a fist-fight or worse. Of course, my wife's recently become a bartender so she knows how to make all those crazy drinks that taste so good and contain oh-so-much alcohol. I especially like Long Island Iced Teas and vodka Martinis (or Gibsons) with Russian Standard or Pravda. Really it's just 3 shots in a fancy glass, but you don't look like as much of an alchoholic when you order a Martini as you would ordering 3 shots at a time. :D
Here's a little tip: try ordering a "Perfect" Martini or Gibson. The drink itself is no different, but it's served with a shot glass full of olives or onions respectively, and a glass of cold water for your chaser. Many people's favorite part is eating the garnish, so with a perfect you get a whole bunch of 'em.
