Yes i've come to save the day Again on hardwareforums, i've come to rescue you from the cretins that no doubt are now rampant on these forums with their, inaccurate, biased and badly informed answers to all your questions... *takes breath*
Be prepared for the Correct, Accurate, well written and friendly answers to all your computing needs ... not to mention politically correct ;) (not including BigB/AT/Harrack & Sniper of course)
I AM BACK and.. subsequently .. & quite comfortably resuming my mundane and easy life as a Professional Bum a.k.a "student".
For those of you who don't know me, or should i say know Of me, i was a highly active member and moderator of the forums (and still am) until i left to go and work in france as a Holiday Rep - we'll get into that later ;) hehe lots of fun!
I have only used a computer for checking e-mails over the last 6 months 9 times for about 10 minutes each - rather good i thought :D I had to put up with the completely illogical layout and stupidity of a french keyboard, and because i am a quick leaner, i'm currently making copius mistakes trying to touch type on an English keyboard setup.
I finished building my computer just before i left.. lol bad timing eh? - i am very picking for those of you who dont know about getting the best cooling out of my system whilst keeping it Silent. and i mean NO NOISE. lol - still to be acheived at a full 100% "Silence" but still..
I am however very pleased to see that actually my computer isn't that out of date considering (not taking into account of all the rich kids out there).
Watch me suffer... i now have no job, no job coming up, a student grant that will only just pay for my bills and course's e.t.c (ie no extra money for computer parts). and so this as we know it is the end of ProcalX who would spend upwards of £100 (atleast) every month on new computer gear.
I've just changed my bank account over, and just from ebuyer/amazon & overclockers.co.uk i have in the last year to this day spent over £9,200 on electronical equipment (mainly my computer and a laptop - which is now broken).
anyway, nice to be back, i'm just installing a birthday present i found when i came home, a LEGAL NEW UNOPENED version of Windows :O lol - i figure i have to install it since i've n3ver actually owned a legal copy.. and it is the 64Bit Professional edition :D
- i'm currently running Fedora 4 & Debian 3.1 - i really don't like Debian that much, mainly because i've fucked the install of it up as i was knackered after 26 hours no sleeping travelling back and decided to make the fatal mistake of trying to give my computer a breath of fresh air ie: a format :)
My laptop is now broken, i had an IBM ThinkPad 1.7GHz /512MB - my brother used it and some fat bitch sat on the screen, so im still trying to figure out how to take the f*cking thing off. - even after reading the online PDF on how to do it lol - i can't get the keyboard off - first thing you have to do.
anyway i'll stop typing what ever comes into my head, however i seem to have accomplished touch typing with out any mistakes now, at the same incredible speed i used to touch type at.
