In need of inspiration

Here's what I came up with using the Cloud render. You're welcome to take ideas from it.

I'm typing up a render blending tutorial as I write this, so check the forum in about ten minutes.

I haven't put a border, because, well, I forgot.

 

suggestion on your sigs while they are nice, they are big, most are around 350x150 or 400x150 and below that :good:

Looks fine, Matttibb.

It's blended well, and the edges are pretty smooth.

Use a better font though, and perhaps Bevel and emboss it, or some other effect.

depends on what the sig is really.

if its a dark sig, then I choose something that looks grungy and distorted.

For that sig, I would use something like "Rage Italic", or something that looks a little more "elegant", or with seriffs on the text.

For sigs, Arial, Times New Roman and Courier New are practically the most boring and dullest ones there, in my opinion.

 

font is the downfall of most sigs. You must learn well what fonts go with which through trial and error, thats how i learned and most of my fonts still ruin my sigs. Yeah and about the size the more open space you have makes it less attention grabbing, is what i have been told from places where i go. :swt:

 

I think big sigs are cool. And Matt my onli advise would be your font otherwise all looks good :good:

It looks a little blurry to me, but thats probably due to the sig or something. lol...that makes no sense.

I'm yet to think up of the categories, but it'll be something like "Best Render in sig", "Most Original", "Best Abstract", "Best Grunge, etc etc.

 

Sounds good. All the sigs that I make are sort of bland but i find them attractive. Right now i'm trying to decied whether to use scarface or agent 47(whatever he was called) the bloke from hitman on a new sig.

 

But matttibb dont take up all the entries spots I wanna enter I'm just waiting for fotoshop to arrive

 

There's unlimited entry spots. The more the merrier
