Hi all I think the time has come to try and help my system cool down a bit. I would like to add an 80 or maybe 120mm side fan to blow air in. Where would be the best place to position it on the side pannel? Right smack in the middle of the pannel? Maybe back a bit to blow over the h/s and the PCI slots? Maybe right over the PCI slots to hlep the G card? Any comment will be welcomed. Many thanks for looking...
A better idea would be to add two fans! One over the RAM or CPU and the other over the expansion slots!
Thanks for the idea.... I will install one and see how noisy it gets... BTW, is you pingu on a trip or did you slow him down....
He's on a trip, He's dancing because he's so happy to be away from his arrogant windows partiton for a wife
yeah having 2 would be better, blowing over the MOBO/RAM is a great idea, and over the graphics card expansion slots and CPU is another great idea, also do you have a top exhaust fan? you could do with one if you dont have one to help suck the hot air out that is cool>blown over motherboard and RAM>heated up>that then rises to top of case just helps to remove that hot air that could end up floating around you computer...
Cheers I will bear this idea in mind.... Gosh guys, you are so helpful..... I am filling up..... :crying:
lol well thats why we are here (and i might know a thing or two about air cooling, i got me a kick ass case and coolers! heh) anything else dont hesitate to ask *walks off for dinner*
