internet stopped working

Well, i have no real idea what is going on, i was browsing, and the router came unplugged. So, plugged it back in and no go. The weird thing is, its not the router, all of my other machines still can connect to the internet, but also i can't see any other machines when i'm on the machine that can't connect to the internet, but my other machines can see it.

well, turned the firewall on and then back off, and it started working again, granted, my Install is going to hell, various icons no longer show up, for instance audio files generally have a little windows media player or winamp icon, its just the unknown file type icon, and some other random stuff. Also, for those file, just clicking to open them doesn't work, have to open with. Yeah, my install is dieing, going to have to re-install soon here.
