Hi.
I'm looking to replace my old card with a Geforce GTX 660. My main concerns are about the reliability of my PSU to handle the card as the Huntkey brand has a dodgy reputation. I think it's a decent power supply for a Huntkey though. My PC specs are:
Intel DQ45CB motherboard
[email protected] ghz
4 GB DDR 2 RAM
and the power supply is
Huntkey Max 700W APFC
Watts: 700W
Cooling: 1 x 120mm Fan
Molex Connectors: 4
SATA Connectors: 3
PCI-E Connectors: 1 x 6+2 Pin
dual & four +12V rails
Product Code: HK700-52PP
For all intents and purposes its a 600 watt PSU albeit of a questionable brand. This particular unit does seem reliable, however. I also read a couple of Russian reviews that rated it pretty solid. Please can I get a definitive answer as to whether this PSU will handle the GTX 660 and comment on how the GFX card will sit with the rest of my rig. The specific GTX660 is a Gigabyte with 2GB ram.
Regards.
